February stashbusting with extra babies

Bloody hell, where is this year going? How did it get to be April so quickly? I haven't had proper internet access for the last week, it's a long story, I was supposed to be on holiday but those plans were scuppered by a volcano of all things! Anyway, it's catch up time. First of all, here's some finished object/stash-busting news, well it's hardly news, from February. There's been a recent flurry of new people arriving in the world which means new baby knits. I really enjoy making baby things in-between bigger projects. There's the satisfaction of that comes with finishing a pair of socks in an evening. She said how comfy they were so we have another hand knit sock convert in the world. Yay! I might need to make B another pair though unless they shrink back to size in the wash. There's some crazy colour pooling in those socks but I quite like it. It reminds me of strawberry shortcake. I've called the socks "Socks 4 Joey" in my Ravelry projects as throughout our school years I called Jo Joey in homage to Joey Deacon who appeared on Blue Peter throughout the 1980s. In return for my political incorrectness Jo called me Tom...

Easter eggy

I hate eating eggs, I despise them, that weird blobby gelatinous blanched exterior containing a bizarre mushy yellowness. They are just too eggy, but what's not to love about these chirpy little cheep cheeps from crafty food blogger, eyecandy. Happy Spring Festival to you all!!!
